Jonathan Mogford joins Brevia Health

Brevia Health has appointed Jonathan Mogford to its Advisory Board.  Jonathan brings a career’s experience of health, life sciences and regulation, both nationally and internationally, including more than 10 years corporate executive leadership as Policy Director in the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), alongside wider experience in the Department of Health and Social Care, and the European Commission.

Jonathan joins Gillian Leng CBE, Mike Thompson MBE and David Beamer on the Brevia Health Advisory Board.

Brevia Health, a dedicated division of Brevia Consulting, offers a team of consultants with experience in pharmaceuticals, IT Health, in vitro diagnostics, medical devices and genomics.

The Consultancy provides straightforward public affairs and public relations support to organisations operating in the highly regulated UK healthcare sector.  Services include political monitoring, strategic counsel, media relations, select committee training, and comprehensive stakeholder engagement programmes that encompass Westminster, Whitehall, Brussels, and the devolved administrations.

Jonathan’s regulatory experience includes leading the MHRA’s work to prepare for exit from the European Union, working with the NHS and industry representatives to stand up regulatory responses to supply chain risks in the early stages of COVID, and leading the policy aspects of the authorisations of the first COVID vaccines.

He has also worked across government on new policy developments to accelerate patient access to quality therapy including with the Office for Life Sciences, BEIS, the NHS and regulatory bodies.
